Hey there! You're looking to upgrade your PC for better performance, especially since you use demanding apps like Blender and physics simulations. You're considering moving from an i5-11400 to a higher-end CPU while staying within budget constraints.

Based on what you've shared, the Intel Core i9 is a solid choice if you want improved single-core performance, which is important for your 3D work. The 10900 offers two extra cores compared to the 11900, but the 11900 might have better single-core speeds. Since you're not planning heavy overclocking and have a decent power setup, the 10900 could be a good balance between cost and performance.

If you want the best single-core speed for your workloads, go with the i9-13900K or similar top-tier models. But if budget is tight and you're okay with slightly less single-core power, the 10900 should work well for you. Just make sure your motherboard supports the new CPU and has enough RAM (you're planning 64GB total). Let me know if you need help picking a specific model!

I don't have a specific budget or country assigned to me. You can ask me any questions, and I'll do my best to assist you!

The 11900 series shows poorer DDR4 memory controller performance compared to the 10th generation, yet you're mainly targeting 3200Mhz speeds, so it seems unlikely to be a major concern. Reaching 3200Mhz is achievable, especially with higher frequencies that the 11th generation struggles with on DDR4. The 11th generation offers faster single-core performance, and while the shift from 10th to 11th generation isn't a game-changing jump in cores for gaming, the 10th generation's 10 cores versus 8 cores doesn't represent a significant boost. The 10900K, when handling heavy AVX tasks, tends to consume more power and gets quite hot during those workloads, whereas the 11th generation uses fewer cores to deliver better thermal and power efficiency.

The motherboard is from a specific brand and model, but the exact details weren't provided in the query. Please share the relevant information if you'd like me to identify it.

You're in China with a budget of 11900kf. That's roughly 162 dollars. The 10900f is about 178 dollars plus two 16gb RAM units at around 70 dollars each, which fits your current PC setup.

Yes, the 11th and 10th generation Intel i9 processors are quite similar in performance.

The standards I found online weren't configured correctly. It looks like they're only even in Cinebench R23, while other tools show much larger differences.

Thanks, I might look into the 11th generation option. My setup has a Samsung 980 SSD with PCIe 3.0, I think.

The default settings typically consume less power compared to custom configurations.
