Consider 240mm or 280mm AIO options. The i9-10900K and 10850K are powerful CPUs, so you'll need a solid component. You'll also want a motherboard with a solid VRM setup and cooling to avoid throttling even at stock speeds. Prices in euros aren't clear, but these boards typically fall between $150 and $200 USD, making them a good fit for an i9-10850K with overclocking. Here are a few to check: ASUS PRIME Z490-A (6x2 + 1 phase VRM, 45A each), Gigabyte Z490 Vision G (12 + 1 phase VRM, 50A each), Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite (AC) (12 + 1 phase VRM, 50A each), and MSI Z490-A Pro (6x2 + 1 phase VRM, Tier-C rated).

5800x tends to overheat. Scythe Fuma2 is smaller than the larger Noctuas but still sufficient for basic cinebench r23. In everyday situations, especially gaming, it seldom reaches 75°C. It stays cool, idling around 29°C.

The two 2-gigabyte models and the ASUS unit are all priced at 200 euros, whereas the MSI one costs 145 euros. If I had to pick between motherboards, I’d go with the Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC or the MSI Z490-A Pro. The Gigabyte version is significantly better than the MSI and offers more value for the extra 65 euros.

I’m planning to use this CPU for the next few years, which is why I’m leaning toward an 8 or 10 core processor. I was thinking about a 5600X but have moved on from that. I won’t be using it for any editing work, mainly for gaming, and possibly streaming later. Having more cores will help me run AAA games smoothly in the future. If I upgrade my PC, I’ll also get a new monitor and keep my current one as a secondary display. If you need more details, just let me know. Right now I’m comparing all the options.

I’d still choose the Z490 Aorus Elite AC. Even at 65 Euros over five years, it feels like a huge investment.
