I chose the B450 because July prices for X570 were really high, and the main change was the PCIe Gen4 support (which made SSDs more expensive too). I understand you value aesthetics, so I’d pick any chipset but prefer ROG or Aorus for a gaming feel—like turning RGB LEDs on in your ROG board is way easier than buying a board with built-in orange parts. For the chipset debate, X570 is better since it supports newer Ryzen models and SSD prices are likely to drop over time. Also, if you go with B450, you’ll need to update your BIOS, which is why I went for MSI boards that handle updates without needing a second-gen CPU.
