Hey there. I've got a query about boosting your i7-8700K to 5GHz on that Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 and H115i Pro Corsair 280mm AIO. Right now you're at 1.310V with LLC turbo, and it's holding steady. But during Cinebench I'm seeing temps spike to 90°C on some cores. In-game performance stays under 75%, but the heat is a problem. I can push fans and case temps up to 100% and still hit around 85°C, though I don't want the noise. The room stays between 25-30°C with the heater on. Are these temperatures safe?

90c sits at a higher end. However, because it's a stress test, it tends to stay quite elevated. As long as temperatures remain acceptable during your typical usage, it's acceptable.

Seems fine with the aio setup. I don’t mind stress tests; I focus on practical results. Real-world performance counts most to me.

Your components are reaching a peak voltage of 2.0V—which is extremely dangerous! I strongly advise you to lower the LLC value as much as possible while maintaining stability, since setting it to Turbo is causing excessive voltage on your cores.

It seems like this might be an incorrect measurement—if the Vcore reached 2V, the CPU could be damaged. Still, lowering the LLC would help reduce temperatures.

You're welcome to try alternatives like HWinfo64 if you wish. That being said, I don't believe those measurements are incorrect.

I switched the LLC to High mode but kept experiencing BSOD continuously. Then I raised the Vcore to 1.35, but the BSOD stopped completely. Vin 1 and vin 2 remained at 1.6 V.
