I'm seeing low scores on Cinebench despite running at 8700kHz and reaching up to 5 GHz. The temperatures are indeed very high, around mid-80°C during full load, which suggests the OC might be struggling with heat management.

I'm running my 8700k at 5 ghz but still seeing low Cinebench scores. My temperatures spike to around mid-80°C during full load, which suggests thermal throttling or an issue with the OC. Please share your complete system details and any available HWmonitor screenshots for reference. On a related note, achieving 5.0 ghz is average for this model—if you're getting a moderate score, it's not necessarily a red flag.

I'm running my 8700k at 5 ghz but still seeing low Cinebench scores. My temperatures spike to around mid-80°C during full load, which suggests thermal throttling rather than an issue with the graphics card itself. Please share your complete system details and any available HWmonitor screenshots for reference. On a related note, achieving 5.0 ghz is fairly typical for this model, so a moderate Cinebench result isn't necessarily concerning.

The mid-80s © setting is quite hot, what voltage are you applying?

I have approximately 1745 with my 8086k running at 5.2 Ghz/5Ghz Cache and 230 single core. Mid-80s won't throttle at all. What's your voltage and mainboard?
