Hello, I encountered a problem where my CPU GHz remains stuck and doesn't change between idle and gaming sessions. It happens regardless of what I'm doing, and I've tried various solutions without success. I wasn't sure if "msconfig" was the cause, but I checked for recent software installations. Setting my BIOS to default didn't help either. The high temperature from this issue is concerning, and I'm unsure how to resolve it. I've experienced this before without any help, and I'm hoping someone can assist me.
Consider using the Windows Balanced power plan. Restore to default settings if needed. This will let your CPU reduce speed when lightly loaded as desired. If it doesn’t help, check the Task Manager to see what’s running and take a screenshot of the Details tab.

I agree, sometimes it drops to 1600 or 2000MHz and then back to 4300-4400MHz. However, the NZXT Cam shows it's stuck at 4400MHz. The HWINFO indicates some cores are stuck at 4400MHz while others are at 800Hz. The task manager doesn't reflect this issue, and it's unclear which frequency is correct.
