Are you considering reapplying your liquid metal or looking for a more efficient cooler? It seems like a waste to use liquid metal with an air cooler. You might want to switch to an AIO liquid cooler, at least a 260mm radius.
Hi everyone, just checking if 85°C is acceptable for my tests using the small FFT test. I'm running Cryorig R1 Universal at 1.32v. I usually see lower temps with a cooler at those clock speeds, but if my max package temperature only reaches 85°C, then it should be okay.
Would it be wiser to reapply your liquid metal or seek a superior cooling solution?

You're using liquid metal and an air cooler—that's inefficient. Consider switching to an AIO liquid cooler. At least a 260mm radius would be ideal.
If that applies, maybe I'll go with an AIO instead. Thanks for the advice.
Applicating liquid metal with an air cooler seems inefficient. Consider switching to an AIO liquid cooler, preferably one with a 260mm radiator. This should significantly reduce temperatures. I recommend this model and have used it since launch. You can find it on Amazon.
