Hi everyone. I bought an HP Elitedesk 800 G4 and tested Cinebench R20. All cores aren’t boosting at 4.3 GHz as expected. Could be a BIOS setting I missed, or maybe running a tougher program like P95 would help. I’ll share the results later with a screenshot. Let me know if there’s anything else I should check.

XTU or similar tracking tools indicate the maximum limits are thermal, power, or performance-related. Higher demands usually mean reduced clock speeds since these tasks consume more energy compared to other workloads. Consider options without AVX to potentially achieve better clock rates.

Installing Intel XTU involves specific steps, and you can capture screenshots during the process if needed. Like video or audio encoders, it provides similar functionality for recording and displaying content.

business boxes often have power restrictions that limit high performance, since they lack sufficient power sources and cooling systems.

The CPU usage during Cinebench runs varies depending on the workload and system configuration, but it typically ranges from 30% to 70%.

Is it the 8700 or the 8700T? That low power consumption means you might not expect its top speed to be high.

Check the maximum clock speed per core when the system is under full load using a suitable benchmarking tool.

On an HP, it's likely you won't be able to.
