Hello, thank you for your message. I'm still trying to figure this out and have tested various solutions to fix the overheating issues in certain games. While my system generally handles high settings well—often staying under 65°C even at boost—I sometimes see spikes reaching 75-85°C in games like State of Decay 2 and Slime Rancher, which can cause restarts. I've upgraded a bit recently to try reducing these peaks. I've applied thermal paste, updated drivers and BIOS, improved airflow by removing the front case shroud, and even replaced the cooler. The stock unit isn't performing well at high temps, so I was hoping for some help from others who might have similar experiences. This problem began before any changes, and I bought the parts from Cyberpower PC in April. I'm sharing my setup details below. Let me know if you've faced the same challenges with an i7 8700.
