No problems with using 4 memory sticks, but without a Z370/Z390 board you'll be restricted to 2666mhz for RAM. You didn't specify the frequency or the board.

It will help it, but avoid quad sticks. These chips don't show real bandwidth differences compared to consumer options.

Performing 4x8 and 2x16 runs is acceptable. The expected performance gap is minimal, with the main advantage of 2x16 being room for future upgrades. Both configurations can match or exceed the speed of 2x8 at comparable distances and times.

It should work without issues, though there may be a minor chance it won't operate at that pace since it exceeds the CPU's recommended speed. This issue remains consistent no matter which setup you choose.
