No, this specs won<|pad|> can’t bottleneck the 3060 Ti. You should be able to run AAA games smoothly at 1440p with your current setup.

Search for videos of the 8700 + 3060Ti at 1440p resolution. Consider watching them on Uhm for a smoother experience. Adjust settings if needed to lower the resolution and boost frame rate.

I tried cp2077 on an 8700k at 5ghz with a 3080 at 1440p. It never felt sluggish and the CPU didn’t feel like a bottleneck. I could barely notice the difference without benchmarks showing a big jump from 8700k to 10900k or even 13700k. It’s definitely there, but not a huge change.

I appreciate my child, but providing a fully functional machine isn’t necessary.

The card is likely to cause a problem before the CPU.

You received your card today with an 8-pin power connector, while your previous card (1060 6GB) used a 6-pin setup. You're unsure how to proceed with the different pin configurations.

Inspect the remaining cables. Unless it's an OEM prebuilt unit without additional components, you'll likely need a replacement power supply. Make sure it works with the adapter or risk encountering issues.
