Is it choppy or why do you think it's throttling? For instance, when I play Doom 2016 the frame rate is at 180 fps then drops to 90 fps and then increases again in an endless cycle. To address your concern, it could be the motherboard.

BlazingAngels :
A corsair h60.
Current Temperature Readings
Core 0 46C (116F) 43C (109F) 74C (165F)
Core 1 47C (116F) 44C (111F) 77C (170F)
Core 2 50C (122F) 46C (114F) 78C (174F)
Core 3 47C (116F) 44C (111F) 79C (174F)
Package 50C (122F) 47C (116F) 79C (174F)
What’s the optimal fix to prevent my CPU from throttling?
At these readings it isn’t throttling. A superior cooler would be beneficial....
The Mugen Max is priced at $36 on Newegg and rivals models like the Cryorig R1 Ultimate for $90

JackNaylorPE shared his setup details.
Core specs and temperatures are listed clearly.
The issue appears to be a sudden drop from 180 fps to 90 frames per second in an infinite loop.

When you execute Furmark or any of the Unigine benchmarks, it evaluates the performance and stability of the graphics card.

I'll run the Furmark and other Unigine benchmarks for you, and you can expect around 10 to 15 minutes for the results.

Don't rely on any standard Unigine benchmarks. Valley is extremely demanding on the CPU, and Heaven is equally problematic. Superposition or consider 3D Mark Timespy / Firestrike tests.
This doesn't seem to stem from a CPU problem... though I'd check the GPU first.

That's a file location from your harddrive....take a screenshot and post it. While you're at it, make sure you get a screenshot of your GPUz sensors tab while you're running the benchmark.

Take a screenshot of the GPUz sensors tab using the sniping tool. If needed, use imgur.com to share the images. It's free and simple.
