Hey everyone,
I recently upgraded my components, including a new CPU and RAM. However, when I attempt to adjust the Core Clock to 4.5 Ghz @ 1.3V or lower, I experience very high temperatures immediately after running the stress test in Prime95. On idle, my temperatures stay around 24°C.
I tested various voltages from 1.26 to 1.325V but didn’t see any improvement. Once I start the Small FFTs mode in P95, the temperature spikes to 90°C within 5 seconds.
When using Stock settings, the temperatures remain above 74°C, which is already quite high.
Use ASUS Realbench or Prime95 v26.6 for optimal performance. Avoid versions higher than 26.6.
Hi and thanks for your prompt response. I've installed the 26.6 Version and now I'm seeing completely different temperatures. 😊
I'm testing my CPU at 4.5 GHz with a voltage of 1.325V, and the maximum temperature I've reached so far is 80°C without any crashes yet.
