Hello, I'm looking to increase my CPU's clock speed. Could someone advise me on the appropriate voltage setting? I aim for a target speed between 4.5 and 4.6. Currently, I'm using EZ-tuning, which reached 4.6. After testing on Aida64 for about an hour, there were no problems, with a maximum temperature of around 77°C. I'm considering using the H110i cooling system.

I have a 6700k and a Hero Alpha, quite similar to you... My speed is around 4.8 at 1.29... But I have a chip that performs better than average. Now I can't say for your chip, but mine does.
1.23 at 4.6 low 60's
1.29 at 4.8 high 60's
1.43 at 5.0 mid to high 70's
That’s the highest I’ve reached so far... Anything above 5.0 boots fine, but causes a lot of blue screens... I use the same cooler you do.
I hope this helps... Personally, I’d stick to under 1.4v for daily runs. I prefer running a bit slower than it can handle, using less voltage instead, since I’ve noticed you start needing more power and heat with little gain. For my chip, 4.8 at 1.29 seems ideal. I tend to...

My readings are 1.23 at 4.6 low 60's, 1.29 at 4.8 high 60's, and 1.43 at 5.0 mid to high 70's. That’s the highest I’ve reached so far... Anything above 5.0 boots but often causes blue screens... I use the same cooler you do.
I hope this helps... Personally, I’d limit daily use to under 1.4v. I tend to run a bit slower than my chip can handle, but with much less voltage since I’ve noticed you start needing high power and heat for little gain. For my chip, 4.8 at 1.29 seems ideal. I usually pick a target OC and lower the power as much as possible.

I configured my on 4.6 and tested on AIDA, it worked fine for about 1.30 hours but when I played Assassins Creed Game it just crashed without any errors, just go to desktop. That happened around 1.35, so you might want to try a lower version like 1.34 and see if it improves. Also, check if there are any blue screens or other crashes. Sorry for the poor English.

Crashing to desktop seems more related to a GPU issue than an overclocking problem... Usually, if the CPU overclock fails, you encounter blue screens...
