Did you run stress tests to ensure stability after you originally overclocked? It might have been only partially stable, leading to rare crashes. Adjusting the overclock like you did could have helped. How were you managing the voltage during those changes?

Did you perform a stress test to ensure stability after you initially overclocked? It might have been only partially stable, leading to occasional crashes. Adjusting the clock too much could have resolved it, but it seems like reducing the overclock as you did would have helped. What were your actions with the voltage while changing the overclock? I didn't adjust the voltage at all. At first, I used the onboard OC tool to set it to 4.6 with water cooling. It worked, but Windows would crash and refuse to load until I stopped auto-overclocking. It booted at 4.6 only after I manually changed it. The stress test completed without issues overnight.
