I recently upgraded my CPU to an i7 6700X (not OC) and have the rest of the system configured as follows: Zotac GTX 970, Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB RAM on a Gigabyte B150M D3H motherboard, and a 1TB WD Green SSD. During sessions with The Division, the CPU usage peaks up to 100%, mostly staying between 80-95%, while the rest hovers around 60-70%. FPS remains solid at 60+ most of the time. For scenes affected by fog or wind, I turned off fog and lowered shadows. For other games like Crysis 3, Watch Dogs, GTA V, The Witcher 3, and The Crew, the load stays between 30-60% with ultra settings enabled. Is this typical? If this game pushes my CPU to its limit, I’m concerned about how it will handle upcoming titles such as Ghost Recon Wildlands, Watch Dogs 2, Battlefield 1, and more. I usually play at 1600x1024 resolution. Any advice?

I'm not sure what's causing concern.

Everything looks typical to me. The newer titles should work without issues, just maybe a few adjustments are needed.

This game demands more from your processor. It's normal. You should have upgraded your display.

You choose WD Green because it spins at 5400rpm, which is quicker than the other options, making game loading smoother.

If you manage to find a decent SSD, it will help with quicker loading times. But it seems your device might still need an upgrade around 2020 at the latest.
