i7 5820k paired with gtx 960 (2gb) and cx600m
Hello guys!
I purchased a new cooler for my high-end processor to enable overclocking for gaming and streaming games like Battlefield 1. I've already tried overclocking my GPU and CPU, but I keep getting an "luxmark has stopped working error" in RealBench when attempting to reach 4.2+ GHz. The Heaven benchmark, where I overclock my GPU, becomes unstable and lags significantly.
My question is, does anyone know a solution to this issue? I've searched extensively but haven't found the best answers. I'm considering replacing my PSU since it might be the cause of power issues, or maybe I need a new GPU because of the high-end processor.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
PSU: Corshair cx600m
GPU: Geforce 960gtx (2gb)
CPU: i7 5820k
Cooler: Noctua NH15
RAM: 8gb 2133mhz
Cheers!
I have two points to make. Buying a low-end PSU is risky with that CPU—you’re taking too much chance.
Check out the R7V48d SSR650RM page and consider upgrading to something like an 1070 or an RX480 instead.
*complains about the low-model PSU*
*suggests a poor choice himself*

And why settle for such a basic unit? Upgrade to something like an RX480 or 1070.
He himself complains about low-model PSUs.
A RM650X or EVGA SuperNOVA 650W G2 would suit you better.
