Hey there, I just purchased an Alienware AW1824HF 240Hz monitor, which was a huge improvement over my previous BenQ RL455...60Hz model. The main problem I’m facing now is during gaming sessions like Warzone or when streaming on Twitch. The stream or video will lag and appear poor quality. I suspect the issue stems from running two 60Hz monitors before switching to the new 240Hz one. My current setup includes a Core i7-4790K CPU, Hyper 212 cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, a SanDisk SSD, a Western Digital hard drive, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. I’m considering upgrading to better components to optimize performance with the new monitor. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I didn't aim to push a new setup right away since I'm not sure about your budget. Upgrading the CPU and mainboard would likely boost performance noticeably. Would you be interested in knowing if high CPU usage during games and streaming is common? Generally, many users use around 32GB of memory and 12-16 threads while gaming and doing multiple tasks.

Everything seems perfect at the moment. Both Intel and AMD offer advantages and drawbacks. I think it would be wise to create a small components selection and gather feedback.
