Hi, I'm just starting out with overclocking using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and have a stock cooler. I changed the processor core ratio to 46 x, 4.60 GHz and the cache ratio to 42 x, 4.20 GHz. My package temperature is between 50°C and 60°C, but it keeps changing. Should I revert to the original settings (44 x, 4.40 GHz, 42 x, 4.00 GHz)? Am I making a mistake? Also, if you'd like to help, please let me know my setup.

Prior to any gaming or performance tweaks, ensure you have a good CPU cooler. Additionally, perform your overclocking within the BIOS settings; the Intel Extreme Tuning utility raises voltages beyond what's necessary.

Before engaging in any gaming or CPU tuning, consider installing a good CPU cooler. Also, perform BIOS updates—the Intel Extreme Tuning feature raises voltages beyond what's necessary. Yeah, I experienced a crash after using that tool. Should I really go through with it?
