I'm curious about why people are complaining that the 4790k can't be overclocked. I'd also like to know which budget-friendly motherboard supports XMP for 2133Mhz RAM and would be ideal for overclocking, assuming there are no problems with the CPU. If the CPU is fine, what would be a realistic 4.8Ghz with my H110i GTX cooler? If there are any issues, what replacement parts do you suggest for the 4790k? Thanks in advance and I'm eager to hear your thoughts.

Typically the problem lies with the motherboard increasing voltage too much. In my setup I use the same processor with air cooling and set it to 4.6, but raising it a bit higher caused an issue. The motherboard is of good quality and reasonably affordable.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I'm planning to search for a motherboard that supports strong overclocking for that chip, aiming for a performance of 4.8.
I've found the I7 6700k to be a solid alternative.
The board you're considering seems worthwhile, so I'll probably go ahead and get it.
