I've been using this stock cooler for three years and just realized it's throttling in most high-end games. I need an upgrade, but with so many choices it's hard to decide. I'm looking for something that can handle moderate overclocking. Noctua is my go-to brand, but I'm open to other suggestions. Should I opt for an air cooler or a cheaper water cooler? I think I still have a H60 from 2015 connected to an FX 6350 Max, and I'd probably spend around $80 max. My current setup gives me about 6 inches of space from the motherboard to the side panel, and my RAM sticks are roughly 1.25 inches thick.

Check Newegg and arrange results by price for air coolers. Use reviews and ratings to decide. Could discover better cooling options in used listings on marketplaces or Craigslist.
