Hi. I have a core i7 3970x with Asus rampage IV extreme and 4x4 16gigs of 1600mhz ram. Thermaltake nic c4 air cooler. There's only 1 HDD and DVD in my setup. 1 gtx 750ti is running without any power connectors. And all this is running on a CM masterwatt Lite 500W psu.
Now my CPU is running at 3.50GHz (stock clock) but I want to go for 4.0/4.5ghz, if not then 4.2/3 would be good too, so which PSU should I get?

Obtain a solid 650/750w unit such as the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold. My processor is comparable and I can handle around 300w at 4.8ghz. Verify if your cooler can manage the workload. At 4.5, you're likely aiming for over 1.3vcore, which will create a lot of heat when pushing the CPU.
