My i7 3770k is stable at 4.4ghz at 1.200-1.212 voltages. After stress testing in 15min with realbench it got up to max 70c on the hottest core, the other cores stayed at 64-67. Do you think this is fine? At 4ghz and 1.032 voltages my cpu goes up to 66c max. So i see about 1c every 100mhz until 4.4ghz, so i'm happy here. Do keep in mind, that i have a xxxxxx asetek liquid cooler. MODERATOR EDIT FOR PROFANITY! Henrik213, Tom's is a family friendly website. Profanity is a banning offense and is strictly forbidden! When maintaining temperatures under 75C continuously, everything is okay. My i7 3770K runs at 4.5GHz with 1.22v, but after a delay it cooled down to below 60C.

70C is extremely high for your processor. It's best to lower your clock speed to avoid any damage. 67.4°C is the upper limit Intel suggests. A few people might tolerate ~5C above that, but I strongly advise against it. Check the links for details.

I aim to reduce voltages in certain zones to improve outcomes, yet my CPU remains near the same temperature regardless of speed.
