Hey there, fellow builders! I just wrapped up assembling my new PC and noticed the CPU is getting way hotter than expected. Curious if anyone has encountered this problem before or has tips to share. I've already tried a few fixes—checking case airflow, reinstalling the cooler, and reapplying thermal paste. Any advice would be super helpful! Check out the parts list here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q8rKqm

It doesn’t seem like CSGO should be so demanding. Increasing the CPU frequency could improve performance and reduce heat during gameplay. I’m not sure if Intel’s 12th-gen chips handle moderate temperatures well, but lowering the voltage might help.

Perhaps the 12th generation will be exciting.

Ya, my thought is just to ramp up fan speed as high as I can, better to replace a few fans earlier than expected than a cpu.
