The issue is clear. 100c is the highest rating for the 10700k, and if you're okay with it being quite warm, go ahead with Turbo or turn it off until you get the liquid AIO.

If the BIOS sets your CPU correctly and any core reaches 100°C, it indicates thermal throttling. Most people anticipate a significant performance decrease, but Intel’s approach to throttling is subtle. The performance drop is meant to be minimal so users rarely notice even slight reductions. To lower your CPU’s temperature, adjust the BIOS settings and decrease the voltage by -50 mV (-0.050V). Some Gigabyte boards supply excessive voltage, generating excess heat. Cutting the voltage can reduce your full CPU temperature by around 15°C without affecting stability. Test with Cinebench and observe the voltage reported by HWiNFO. Many boards display higher voltages than necessary—such as 1.30V when only 1.20V to 1.25V suffice. An example is the similar 10th Gen 10850K, which runs stably at 4900 MHz with just 1.19V. Another solution is ThrottleStop, which lets you balance turbo boost and stability. You can choose your desired speed while using it. Share screenshots if you need guidance.

Thanks appreciated! I've managed to fix the issue temporarily until my new AIO arrives. If anyone asks, I adjusted the Gigabyte's turbo power limit to half of my cooler's TDP support (65W → 32W), but performance hasn't improved noticeably yet. Now the temperatures are stable at 65-70°C. It's odd how they send it with a faulty cooling unit and set turbo mode on by default. This could be problematic for someone unfamiliar with computers. Just to clarify, it's not a K model—it's a standard 10700, and I think there was a mix-up with my workstation PC.
