Hi,
I've been considering my i5-4670k and came across a program called AI Suite 3 from ASUS. After trying it out, I noticed my CPU is clocking higher than the stock specs, despite only making minor changes in BIOS settings like performance tuning for my Z87-C and adjusting the fan speed to turbo. The multiplier and core voltage are fluctuating too. I'm using a stock cooler, which adds to my confusion.

Details:
CPU & cooler: Intel i5 4670k (stock cooler)
Board: Asus Z87-C
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 C9 2x8GB
GPU: AMD R9 290X
Power supply: XFX Pro 750W
Operating system: Windows 7
Images:

Gameplay screenshots: http://prntscr.com/h2ssoq

After playing some games, the CPU reaches up to 4.2MHz and core voltage hits 1.199V while maintaining a temperature around 46°C max, still at about 88°C.

Should I be concerned or is this typical?

The system is adjusting clocks and possibly voltages because it's operating in AUTO mode within the BIOS. It's recommended to manually overclock using the BIOS, as software-based overclocking may lead to issues. Here are your specifications:

Ram:
SSD/HDD:

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I've got the stock cooler, I've been thinking about an OC but haven't bought any yet... which is why I'm unsure what's happening and am worried about damaging the CPU.

I've been considering an issue with my i5-4670k CPU and noticed an accidental overclock on the stock cooler. I came across a software called AI Suite 3 from ASUS. After installing it, my CPU is now running at higher frequencies than the stock settings, despite making only minor changes in BIOS settings like performance tuning for my Z87-C and adjusting the fan speed to turbo. Should I be concerned? Is this typical behavior? The multiplier and core voltage are fluctuating a lot. I'm currently using a stock cooler, which adds to my confusion...
