I checked the options and compared them. Buying the 9600kf with the 2070 super seems more advantageous than the 9400f paired with the 1650 super.

The gap between them is quite significant. Are you swapping in an Intel processor you currently own? What makes the 2070 and 1650 stand out as top options?

They don't even match up. It seems the issue is about finding what fits you best rather than deciding which is superior.

Hey, I get it might sound a bit awkward, but my buddy mentioned he’s likely to jump into Fortnite and Modern Warfare Warzone since everyone around him does.

Consider checking out the AMD Ryzen 3600, as it's significantly more affordable and handles most current games well. It also leaves space for a better graphics card. What is your overall budget?

I have $1,000 but would prefer a smaller amount and might be able to stretch it to $100. It’s his money and I’m just starting to build it.

Wait a week to evaluate the 10th gen i5 10400 against the 9400f. It could be more affordable than the Ryzen 3600 for comparable performance. If not, opt for the Ryzen instead. Your friend doesn’t need a 9600k or 2070; a 2060/super would suffice for those games.

The Ryzen 3 3300X and a 2070 graphics card work well within that budget. Their performance looks great for a gaming-oriented setup.
