i5 9300h vs R5 3550h
Purchasing a gaming laptop of the same model, the i5 is $50 more and has a thicker chassis thanks to a different fan exhaust design. I understand the i5 offers better performance, but will the 3550h feel like a noticeable drop? The GPU will be a GTX 1050 with 3GB GDDR5, aiming for 1080p at 60fps on medium settings. I already have a desktop with an RTX 2070/3700x, so I’m considering this upgrade because my home time on the desktop is limited.
