I enjoy my motherboard, specifically the MSI z370 Sli Plus. I'm running at 5ghz on my i5 8600k (no delid). You can view my stats and click at the bottom to see a validation of my overclock.
There are many good boards available too. You don't need to spend 300 dollars to achieve 5ghz—it's a very popular model from AsRock.
