I've had this CPU for a while and chose to overclock it. It works without crashing, but I'm struggling to understand why it's throttling itself. I ran Prime95 under stress—it stays at around 5GHz for a short time before gradually slowing down to about 4GHz, then briefly spikes back up to near 4.5GHz. The longer the test, the higher the CPU temperatures reach, often in the 50s to mid-60s. I have a H100i heatsink and have increased the voltage to 1.350V, but it doesn't last long. Currently, it's still running, and CPU-Z shows my voltage as 1.112. I'm using a mis Z370 Pro motherboard.

Using an AIO cooler might lead to VRM overheating. You can fix this by opening the side panel of the case and placing a desk fan near the motherboard.

With an AIO cooler, the VRMs on the motherboard might be causing the throttling. Opening the side panel of the case and placing a desk fan near the motherboard can help eliminate VRM overheating.

It's interesting to note that on most games I've tried, it runs smoothly, but during the Prime95 stress test it slows down significantly.
