i5 7600K cooler
i5 7600K cooler
Hello,
I'm using an i5 7600k, z270x gaming 7, and Raidmax alpha prime.
My H50 from 2011 seems to be underperforming compared to its past speed.
I'm considering upgrading the 7600k and wondering if it could benefit from a cooler.
Could you suggest some coolers that might help keep the temperature below 70°C during full load?
The premium air coolers should handle it, but larger AIOs might offer better cooling performance.
Did you consider using an air cooler? They would be more affordable and dependable.
High-end options:
NH-D15
Cryorig R1
Dark Rock Pro 3
Mid-range:
Dark Rock 3
Cryorig H5
NH-U12S
AiOs:
I wouldn't suggest Corsair since many people here face pump issues.
EVGA CLC 280
Kraken X52/X62
Swiftech (hard to locate in the US?)
EK (also hard to find in the US?)
I truly dislike recommending AiO's due to the chances of failure and leaks.

Premium options include NH-D15, Cryorig R1, Dark Rock Pro 3, Mid-range models like Dark Rock 3, Cryorig H5, NH-U12S.
Disadvantages: I don't suggest Corsair due to frequent pump failures. EVGA CLC 280, Kraken X52/X62 are available, but I couldn't locate Swiftech in the US. EK is also unavailable in the US.
I strongly dislike recommending AiO products because of failure and leakage risks.
Thanks for the details. I’m fine with air cooling, but I’m curious—did I own a CPU that could reach 5GHz? Could I still meet my performance goals while staying under 70°C at full load? Is that even achievable with air cooling?
