Hi guys,
I just installed a GTX 1080Ti last night and found out I can run it in OC mode if I want. I'm playing Destiny 2 on PC and wondering if running strictly in OC mode could harm any components. Should I stick to "gaming" mode for safety? I have monitoring software to keep an eye on my internal temperatures, and I'm using a 144Hz monitor aiming for consistent 144fps at 1920x1080. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

OC mode doesn't really increase performance by that much.
A manual OC will give you better results.
As long as temperatures are fine, there is no danger.
