i5 7500 + GTX1080Ti + 750W PS
Hi guys,
I just installed a GTX 1080Ti last night and found out I can run it in OC mode if I want. I'm playing Destiny 2 on PC and wondering if running strictly in OC mode could harm any components. Should I stick to "gaming" mode for safety? I have monitoring software to keep an eye on my internal temperatures, and I'm using a 144Hz monitor aiming for consistent 144fps at 1920x1080. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
The precise model of your power supply unit is not specified here.
Manual OC refers to the process of making changes without using automated tools.
Jazzroy confirms your PSU can handle the Corsair CX series CX750 ATX 12V 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply. He mentions considering manual overclocking by raising the speed and voltage of the 1080 Ti for better performance compared to the factory setting.
