Offer the i5 for cash and receive a Ryzen 3 3300X. The i5 7400 runs at a low clock speed and falls short of what modern games require, especially with its need for at least eight threads. It’s quite slow by today’s standards—better to sell it while it retains some worth and grab a 3300X or even a 10100 instead.
