Hey everyone, I was wondering how high I managed with the i5 6600k and the Hyper 212 cooler before it started getting too hot. I’m currently aiming for a 4.3 and still have the original case fan. I’m thinking about upgrading soon. Could anyone share their experiences or setups? Thanks!

I achieved a stable performance of 4.5 Ghz. The result varies based on the chip, motherboard, memory specs, and cooling setup.

I managed to reach version 4.8 before encountering the BSoD. Not too bad at all. I opted to stop at 4.3 just for better reliability. Very satisfied with the performance. Just got from an amd 6300 4.3 and a gtx 750 ti sc, so the difference is noticeable. Lol.

I've been using it at 4.4GHz for roughly four months with no issues.
