Can I try overclocking the i5 6400 on the Medion h110h4-cm2 (Mobo) using the stock coller? Please let me know how to do it. Thanks.

When Sky Lake CPUs launched in 2015, ASRock introduced a BIOS for their Z170 model allowing overclocking of non-K CPUs. Intel reacted negatively and quickly altered the system to prevent this. As a result, the available videos are outdated and no longer applicable. Additionally, overclocking wasn't feasible with an H110 motherboard.

No, the i5 6400 isn't overclockable. Only Intel "K" CPUs (i5 or i7-xxxxK) are allowed to be overclocked. You also require a motherboard that supports this feature.

The release of Sky Lake CPUs in 2015 saw ASRock introduce a BIOS for their Z170 that allowed overclocking non-K CPUs. However, Intel opposed this move and quickly implemented modifications to prevent such functionality. As a result, the available videos are outdated, and it wasn't possible to achieve this on an H110 motherboard. Thank you!
