i5-6400 BCLK Overclock.
Hi! I understand you've learned about boosting Non-K intel processors by adjusting the base clock. I know someone managed to get their i5-6400 to run around 4.5GHz by tweaking the base clock, but they're facing issues when changing it to higher values. They mention a 'Overclocking failed!' message and wonder if they downloaded a different BIOS that allows more flexibility.
It might be necessary to raise the vCore (CPU voltage) and the Ststem Agent voltage (VCCSA).

Thanks! I shared what I learned from watching all the tutorials on overclocking non-K SKU chips. You see, you need to raise the vcore as mentioned. Also, I discovered that my chip only goes up to a 27x multiplier, so it defaults to x27 for anything higher. For instance, I picked a 33x multiplier but the system still capped it at 27. That means even if I set it to overclock at 160 Base Clock with a 33x multiplier, it would only show 5.28, which is pretty low but still the max of 27. It seems my chip doesn’t go beyond that. Hope this helps!

Hey Jason! Just a note that my CPU is set to 1.2 and the agent to 1.1, while my RAM doesn't allow XMP support.
