Hello everyone, long time lurker, this is my first time posting -
I've been looking into safe temperatures for an overclocked i5 4690k. I only changed the multiplier in BIOS and didn't adjust the voltage.
This screenshot was taken after about two hours of playing Arma 3.
I saw many people boosting their vCore up to 1.3 or higher, but mine is stuck at .960 and runs smoothly.
My question is (see screenshot / attachment): are the Intel Core i5 temperatures shown here safe for extended gaming sessions? I'm using a Hyper Evo 212 Air cooler on the machine.

Hendrics :
Redo the TIM on the CPU and/or lower the OC.
Are these temperatures safe for gaming? I recall reading somewhere that the CPU doesn't throttle until it reaches around 90°C or so. Is there another reason you noticed this, or do you want more details about why lowering the OC is necessary?
Thanks!!
Brian

I'll reduce it to 4.4, which is where things stood earlier, but it was on water. Check how it performs, then keep going until I reach that ideal point.
