Hi. I attempted to overclock my i5 4690k to 4ghz. I set the vcore to 1.100 and the multiplier to 40. Disabled turbo boost and EIST. I'm using a standard cooler, and my maximum temperature is 68c. Is this typical? I understand the cooler isn't great for high temps, but this setup seems quite odd. My motherboard is Z87X-OC. I'm in a warm climate, so the environment is hotter than usual. I've tried various software to check the readings, but they're consistent. I'm quite surprised by this.

If it holds steady, everything looks good. 68°C isn't too hot for a stock cooler on a heavily overclocked CPU.
