Hey everyone, I checked my CPU last night — it's an i5-4670k running at 4.2Ghz with a 1.16Vcore. The idle temps were recorded at 40°C and 85°C during stress tests using AIDA64 with the stock cooler. I understand it's not ideal to overclock with the stock cooler, but the temperatures seem acceptable even with it. The idle temps aren't great at 40°C, but they spike to around 65°C when gaming. What are your thoughts on the clock speed and temperatures? I'm planning to upgrade to a 212 Evo cooler, which should help lower the temps significantly.

What motherboard would you choose? I wouldn't pick the Evo212 since they're not that good... You might get 4.6 out of the 4670K:
