Hello, I'm checking if your i5 4590S will slow down your new Asus R9 with 4GB RAM. The system you're using has plenty of resources—8GB DDR3, a solid motherboard, decent PSU, and a good monitor. Your games run smoothly on this setup, so you likely won't need a newer CPU unless you plan heavy multitasking or demanding titles.

The issue isn't due to a lack of speed; the main problem is missing a M.2 NVMe SSD.

This means your current setup is well-suited for smooth gameplay at 60Hz, so there’s no real bottleneck issue. If you’re aiming for higher frame rates, the problem likely lies elsewhere—perhaps with your GPU or other components. A faster SSD can help cut down loading times. Consider adding more RAM if needed, and a good CPU will also boost performance.

The motherboard might not support NVMe yet. Previously, only certain Z-series chipsets offered this feature.
