Hello, I just completed my first OC and am checking if everything is fine. I managed to set my CPU to 4.2 using the default voltage. After further testing, I achieved 4.4 at 1.16V. What I read suggested it shouldn't be that high, but I haven't experienced any crashes yet. All tests in p95 and temperatures reached 80. With regular use (gaming), I'm getting around 70. I'm using an Evo 212 cooler with the included paste. Am I doing something wrong, or am I lucky with my voltage? The room is warm without heating.

The voltage level is acceptable, and you can rely on it continuously under these conditions. If desired, you might consider purchasing higher-quality thermal paste; Arctic's MX-4 is a solid choice offering good value. A temperature of 80°C is still within an acceptable range, though it might be improved. You could also set up a second fan using a push-pull arrangement if you have the necessary mounting brackets.

If you're seeing 70c gaming, there might be an issue. I was at 4.3 and 1.25v on my old 3570k with a h60. With those low voltages, you should feel much cooler while gaming!

Sorry to have deleted my previous comment. I haven't responded since then. (I actually missed posting this...) . But after some adjustments, I'm now using 4.5 at 1.18V. I completed a custom p95 stress test (13GB RAM) for an hour and a half with no issues. The highest temperature reached was 72°C. I reinstalled my cooler after the 4.4 version.

For those of you with expertise, should I be able to keep running this continuously? The cooler is an Evo 212. Also, the voltage seems a bit low compared to others with the 3570k.

Execute a 24-hour p95 analysis; if your system remains stable with peak temperatures under 85/90 on a single core, it's secure. The I5-3570k throttles to 105°C, so keep it below 90 for safety.
