I5 2500K overclocking issues on Gigabyte board
I keep trying to overclock my 2500K on the Gigabyte P67-A-UD4-B3 board, but I don’t see any post screen and after that I have to reset the BIOS using the jumper or remove the BIOS battery. With a 750W XFX power supply and the Noctua NHD-14 cooler, these problems shouldn’t be too big... If anyone knows what’s going on or has a working BIOS setting, let me know.
Certainly. Please keep Turbo active. You may only need to adjust the vcore voltage and leave the rest unchanged. Set the LLC/load line calibration to level 2, as this value can differ across BIOS versions—sometimes it's 1-5 (with 1 being the highest), sometimes a percentage or low/med/high/very high. Start with a setting between 50% and the maximum. Also turn off all sleep/power saving states listed in the BIOS.
