Just updated my i5 2500 k to 4.6. Running prime95 blend. Temperatures are around the mid-70s, reaching a peak of 84. I have a cooler master Evo 212. Are these readings too high? Burn-in had been lasting about 10 minutes.
I'm not sure why it reached 84 since it's no longer there. I took a break and the monitor reported that.

I wouldn't be concerned, as real-world tasks won't strain it that much. With a 2700K at 5GHz and a Corsair H80, it stays under 75°C, whereas using only a VenomousX cooler gives the same outcome.
