Z boards are mainly suited for high-end overclocking and advanced I/O needs. If you don’t intend to overclock or require many USB ports, a standard B760 board will be perfect.

B760 chips support aggressive tuning, aiming for high-performance or extreme speed adjustments.

They won’t be doing any overclocking, so they can use DDR5 or just DDR4.

Sure, I've reviewed the info. You mentioned having storage with a 1TB M.2 drive and a 500GB SSD. Let me know your thoughts!

You have the option of choosing either. The 14th generation processors provide compatibility with both versions, making the shift smoother

Seems fine with this! For the RAM: Not sure if it matches the Non-RGB Vengeance, but when I received mine there were separate kits for Intel (XMP) and AMD (EXPO). If possible, grab the Intel one: CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory - Black. Just to be safe.

Got it, thank you. If there are any improvements that make sense, I’d like to invest in them, or else I’ll keep the savings.

For gaming on the 7800X3D, an easy win is achievable. In programming, we should understand more details. For game development and regular apps/web, my 5800X3D performs well enough. It's hard to picture how much the coding and compiling would be before core count becomes clearly noticeable. Perhaps AI tasks and large data sets could benefit from Intel, but we need to check if eco-rates aren't a problem. A full-core processor like the 7900X might be more useful if that’s the case.
