When asked about the specific stage during Windows installation that caught your attention, I wasn't expecting such a prompt. If you're current with your BIOS, you should be okay. You might want to verify your CPU core voltage—it usually stays near 1.1V. Previously, it would have dropped above 1.4V, but I recall slightly undervolting my 13600K by about 0.040V. Also, did you refresh the management engine firmware? Think about shutting down each fan one at a time to see if that stops the clicking. Edited December 21, 2025 by leclod

I mean I had to install drivers after windows installation for devices not listed correctly. In HWiNFO I see Core VIDs between 0.8V and 1.4V with average around 1V. There is no management engine firmware available to download from GIGABYTE. It's the case fan that is causing the clicking sound.

I added the drivers from GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER without realizing it. I installed it myself, though it felt more like a driver rather than firmware, and I didn’t need to restart the system.

My main videos stay around 1.2V, but I realized I’m still running low because the hardware struggles with the extra heat.
