What situation are we discussing? A poorly ventilated hot box can definitely mess with your temperatures, even with a D15 rating.

Replace the cooler and verify the bracket is securely fastened throughout. Ensure all screws are tightened fully. Remove any residual paste before applying fresh adhesive.

Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL, 3 140mm fans positioned at the front and top. I’m placing an order for fresh thermal paste, ARCTIC MX-4. The paste from the Cooler seemed like putty, but that doesn’t seem to be the main issue.

ensure the d15 supports 175-200 watts under load, verify the actual consumption during maximum usage.

In my initial message the image displaying the stress test results at maximum capacity indicates a package TDP of 187W

Sure, the cooler looks promising despite the higher wattage. I expected newer Intel chips to handle around 300W, but since it's a six-core unit, it should perform well. Others suggested reinstalling the cooler and securing everything tightly—it makes a big difference, especially with the Noctua models you like. The stock paste usually works fine, though it might need a second application if it’s pre-applied. I noticed the Noctua and MX4 pastes are quite similar, so mixing them was a simple fix last time. It seems the issue isn’t with the paste at all.

It seems like you're just confirming the setup. The MX-4 will arrive tomorrow, and I'll let you know once it's here.

It might be a defective unit. The production issue could have affected this model, so consider ordering a new one.

Installed fresh thermal paste (previously used MX-4) and reattached the Noctua NH-D15. Adhered to the guide carefully, ensuring all components were secured. Still experiencing identical temperatures. When launching Cinebench with the i5-13600k, it instantly reaches 100°C and remains there. Uncertain about the cause. Verified fan curves in BIOS – appear correct and intended for maximum performance.
