Should I boost the CPU? You're considering more performance for Rust, a CPU-heavy game, on your RTX2060 with B660M. I'm checking what cooler to choose if you decide to overclock. Right now I have a stock cooler because the master air flower radiator isn't compatible. What should I get for overclocking? And yes, this is my first time doing a proper overclock. Also, I have an i5-12600k with RTX2060—would upgrading to RTX2080Ti or RX 6800 XT/RX 6900 XT give me better performance? I mainly play Rust, which is CPU-focused, but I know some other games like MW2 need a stronger GPU.

Based on what I can find, this chipset doesn't support overclocking. The turbo boost is quite effective these days. Unless you're particularly passionate about it and willing to invest in a liquid cooler and a new motherboard, it wouldn't be worth it. Some individuals enjoy doing it as a hobby or for the satisfaction of tweaking, but the performance improvements don't justify the cost. It's fine if you let it run at 4.9 boost on its own—just a personal opinion.
