Completed a custom aggressive fan curve on my 3090 and applied a minor undervolt. GPU temperatures dropped by 10-15°C. CPU temps now stay around 85-90°C during TLOU.

There is a component on the motherboard with no "warranty void if damaged" labels, similar to a CPU backplate.

I wanted to share a quick note. I had to return my 3090 for an RMA, which was tough right away. Still curious, so I ran cinebench without the 3090 in the case, and my CPU barely hits 80 now. Seems like the issue was there.

That's typical behavior. The stock cooler struggles with the warm air from the 3090. I suggest you upgrade to a more efficient cooler once you receive it.
