The issue is that your existing RAM doesn’t provide sufficient speed for the 5600’s capabilities (16GB DDR4 at 2133MHz)

This type of RAM affects all CPUs to some extent, so it makes sense to prioritize a quicker CPU upgrade before investing in RAM. Modern kits are now reasonably affordable. In my area, I’ve found 3200MHz CL16 units for around 50€, and you can often push them to 3400+ or improve timing further.

Choose the 3600 if you're on a tighter budget. If you have a bit more time, consider the 5600X arriving early November—it’ll run better than the 10600K at the same cost. Avoid purchasing the 10600K now while the 5600X is just around the corner. In the meantime, you might want to set aside some money for a 16GB 3600MHz cl16 RAM kit for roughly $75.

5600x can't beat the 5GHz+ beast at 10600k, which is also $50 less. Plus, Intel Mobos are more affordable too.

In my country, the 5600x and 10600K are priced identically and should offer similar performance. Probably only one runs slightly faster, but the 5600x includes a cooler, which saves you money.
